She was readily informed that that take off WAS a high speed pass for a Piet.I'm happy that someone like Oscar has the plane who will fly it regularly. 41 hours in almost 2 years isn't utilizing the plane very much. Of course I can excuse this by blaming it on those beauro idiots who sit around drinking coffee, smoking and generally make excuses to keep from finalizing decisions thatmay not be good ones and then lose their soft jobs. So they just try hard to CYA and I don't mean Catholic Youth Association.Maybe, just maybe, someday AFTER all this terror business is behind us and the military and airlines stop trying to claim the skies as their very own, theSport Pilot rule will become law with all it's restrictions ie, can't fly beyond a radius of 5 miles from base airport and not above 1200 AGL. Think I'mjoking? Just wait.I enjoyed building 41CC with Joe Capzlicki. And enjoyed and appreciate being with Edwin Johnson during the test flights and his instructed flights with me.I was a pleasure to fly as told me by Mr. Nathan Moss.I'll stop this chatter now, lay up a mint julip, put on some Tommy Dorsey records so Isabelle and I can dance up a big time tonight.Corky in La thinking about his baby deep in the heart of Texas ( I hope )________________________________________________________________________________
