I have gotten ice here in Florida in the middle of the summer with almost100 percent humidity and 90 degrees. I have gotten it on take off too. Atrick I use is to leave the carb heat on after the run up test. Try toremember to push it off on take off. Don't know how much that little bit ofheat helps but I have never gotten ice on climb out when I did that.Ted> Hello Gang,>> I have flown behind many C-85's and 0200's and rarely> had any problems with carb ice, even in icing> conditions, burning auto-gas.
