Subject: Pietenpol-List: Weldable flange (fiberglass fuel tank)I'm getting close to building my fuel tanks out of fiberglass. In looking at the book, Sportplane Construction Techniques by Tony Bingelis (page 83) I see the flange but don't have any idea which flange size to order for my specific needs. Both AS&S and Wicks show flanges using 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" female pipe thread in which to insert the finger strainer. I'm guessing a 3/8" would beOK for a Contienetal A-65 or a Corvair engine's thirst? Or should I go with 1/2"?Thanks,Roy________________________________________________________________________________Subject: Pietenpol-List: Plans ordering troubleDate: Mon, 21 Feb 2005 11:32:23 -0600

I ordered my plans in November and used the Paypal option for payment. Theywere delivered within 2 weeks and even included a letter from Don Pietenpolsuggesting that I make at least one part every day. I never received anye-mails from them though.Ben CharvetJust getting started too________________________________________________________________________________
