Subject: Pietenpol-List: Lost Foam Gas TankI'm going to build a gas tank for my center section using the lost foam method. I'm savvy with fiberglass and epoxy but need some info about how to jointhe foam parts. Is there a glue for joining the foam walls? And is it eaten awaywhen the foam is lost? Thanks,Roy________________________________________________________________________________

I use hot melt glue to hold the various foam blocks together. You can hotwire cut or hand shape the blocks. The glue will dissolve just like thepolystryrene foam with a solvent wash after you've cut the mold apart, forrebonding.Gordon Bowen________________________________________________________________________________
