John,The wires in the sky scout wings were in place so that interference between theribsand the drag/antidrag wires could be determined prior to glueing of theribs. If you noticed, the rib spacing varied on the Sky Scout wings to keepthe wires from coming in contact with the ribs. Greg and I measured themand they were off as much as an inch.If the line made by connecting the root ends of the spars is held normal tothe spar major axis, and the ribs are glued parallel to this line, then youwill find when it is time to trammel, it will be a non issue. Thosebuilders that glue their wings together without controlling the front andrear spar positions from the beginning will find trammelling to bechallengingChrisBraumeister und Inspektor der Flitzer und Flitzermotoren________________________________________________________________________________
