I'm cutting the fittings for the straight axle landing gear and was hoping someonecould help with the dimensions of the inside fitting. The Flying And Glider Manual drawings on page 17 give a dimension of 3/32" fromthe lower bolt holes to the fold line. Obviously this is incorrect, what measurementhave you guys used?Whist we're on the subject, how are the slots for this fitting accurately cut intothe fuse floor? Thanks in advance.Mike GreenRomsey,Victoria,AUSTRALIA.________________________________________________________________________________

Distances don't matter, cut it oversized, bend it, clamp it in place, and drillit in place. Don't pre-drill holes, except maybe in one side only as a staringpoint. Exact bolt placement is not that important. Slots can be cut by "chaindrilling" with a small bit and cleaning up with a file. Jigsaw from thebottom works well, too. Make sure you understand how the fittings go, it is notentirely obvious from the drawing until you think about it for a few hours.Gene ----- Original Message -----
