I was at a local model airplane fly in and talking to another pilot who also flies full scale and when I mentioned I was building a Piet he told me about this older fellow who started one and didn't finish due to health reasons but still flew models from time to time, although he lived a fair ways away. As we were talking a minivan pulled up and it happened to be him. A few min. later I had 8 ribs, the tail feathers, rib jig, and a few other parts for very little.
