MikeThe tank I removed from my Piet is almost an exact copy of your drawing! The only difference I noticed is the stainless strap. I'm not sure of the thickness of the tank. I've even considered just plateing over the tank. I'm going to take the tank to someone knowledgable to see what they say. In the end, it'll be me that makes the decision on what to do and it will be me flying with it. Everyones input has been really helpful. I'm learning a lotThanks for the heads up on the Fuel Lube and yes, teflon tape is a good thing to keep away from fuel or oil. You should probably order the 3/8" welding flange. Then you can install the finger strainer in the tank and that has a 1/4" finished thread.Dick N.----- Original Message -----
