While I appreciate Aircraft Spruce's attempt to heroicly salvage a customer relationshipbefore all of us potential customers on the forum, I have to say thatI have made 2 orders for wood. One for my capstrip and one for a single pieceof 1/2" x 1/2" capstrip (for the rib nose blocks). I scrutinize everythingand it was obvious to me that both orders contained substandard would (graindensity, grain inconsistencies, and imperfections/damage from the cutting process).Armed with information from their own site and AC43.13 I was unable toget them to replace anything. Once I sent them a link to pictures on my websiteand THEN things started to move. Glad some people didn't go through the hellI did but I echo Mike. To me great customer service doesn't mean they willbe happy to make good on their screw-ups. It means a commitment to less screw-upswhich I have seen no evidence of.
