JackMy opinion is that lowering the hinge a bit makes for a better bearing surface on the back side of the ailereon beam. The nuts willl be right at the beveled edge. My hinge tops are right at the top of the covering, but going 1/4" lower wouldnt hurt anything.Dick N. ----- Original Message -----
