Apparently this blade type will behave somewhat likea variable pitch prop. As the rpm and power increasethe tip bends foreward flattening the pitch thus becominga "climb" prop and when leveling out and reducing powerit settles back into the higher pitch it was carved to, thusincreasing the speed per rpm.How much effect will, of course, depend on the stiffnessof the blade, in turn dependant on the thickness and thematerial.
