Dave, The radius is the same all the way around. The reason I did not use onepiece is that I would have wasted too much wood as my fairing will curvearound the pilot's shoulders (see attached). As you say, 1/16" is plentystrong, but that would have entailed an extra expenditure of $$. Iaccomplished this same bend on such a small piece by soaking in water, thenstrapping the pieces around a bucket while they dried.
