Yes and no. Once I had the bottom done and squished Iset the tail on two high sawhorses so it was level, weightedthe tailpost with a sandbag and checked everything for straightness. I had to do a little twisting both left and right on a couple of wires but that was all. Then I worked onpulling the top ones tight and holding them with smallindustrial U bolt cable clamps. At this point the nicopressferules were 5" away from the thimbles. When they werepushed up tight that added some more tension. I pluckedthe wires all round to hear the same note from each,fiddled a bit to get that note the same then squished theferules. I've had it apart twice.
