For complete info go to www.findmespot.comThe way I use it (it can be used in different ways) it sends out my location (anywhere in the world) to my computer, every 10 minutes. There's also an emergency button, that when used, will start a search for you if you need help. Also a button that sends out a "I'm ok" message to whom ever you choose.
