I have 19" aluminum alloy rims on mine. 40 spokes per wheel are BEST but most bikes don't come in those anymore....32 isthe standard I believe anymore. I happened upon a setof 40 spoke aluminum alloy rims after searching 3 motorcycle boneyards and manystores. Sun (you'd have to Google them) sells alum. rims off the shelf--any size---perfectif you're willing to spend the money.
