Hoo, boy... speaking of gas (and I hope that thread dies a quickand odor-free death), it is possible to strap an aux tank intoyour passenger seat and fit it with a pump to transfer fuel intoyour main tank. Our friend Gary Gower from Mexico sent me detailsof just such a setup that is used down there (gas stations arefewer and farther between). A typical tank for boating use holdssix gallons, which would provide an hour to 90 min. extended range, for about another 60-80 miles.Hmmm... maybe even fit a long hose onto the tank, allowing oneairplane to feed the hose out to another airplane for air-to-airrefueling?? That would be some interesting formation flyingwhile trying to refuel, eh?We who are not able to make it to Brodhead are going to be stuckhere at the keyboards just making jokes and watching lame videoclips, I guess ;o)Oscar ZunigaAir Camper NX41CCSan Antonio, TXmailto: taildrags(at)hotmail.comwebsite at http://www.flysquirrel.net________________________________________________________________________________
