The 65 didn't have impulse on either magand the 75=2C with new Slicks=2C has it on both. I've heard thatthe mag switch should be set to "Left" for starting. I've alwaysset it to "Both". I may have had one or two times when the prop kicked backon me a little while trying to hand-prop my A65 with noimpule couplers, but it seemed to only happen when theengine was flooded. In the early days of my ownership ofthe airplane, I was not well versed on starting the A65with Stromberg carb when the engine is warm, and I oftenflooded it. Now that I know how to handle warm starts, Ihaven't had a flooded engine or prop kickback since Idon't remember when.I have noticed, in the very limited amount that I've turned the A75 while fitting the prop, etc., that it is aLOT stiffer than the 65 was. Break-in should improvethat a lot but it seems like it will take a bit more armpower to flip this new prop than it did the old one. Thecompression ratio is exactly the same as on the 65 so Iknow it's the new pistons, rings, and cylinder hone jobas well as all the new, tight-fitting components.Oscar ZunigaAir Camper NX41CCnow A75 poweredSan Antonio, TXmailto: taildrags(at)hotmail.comwebsite at http://www.flysquirrel.net________________________________________________________________________________
