Wow... those are some kinda boarding steps R.T.'s got on his Piet! While building the mechanical brakes for my Flying Squirrel, Iworried a great deal about having the brake cables out where thegrass or brush could snag them, but R.T. seems not to be worriedabout that at all. His brake cables have large loops in them, hanging out in the breeze.I ended up welding short sections of steel tube to the trailingedge of my landing gear legs to thread the brake cables downthrough, keeping them secure and out of harm's way. I anticipateflying where the grass can grow up a little ways.Oscar ZunigaAir Camper NX41CCSan Antonio, TXmailto: taildrags(at)hotmail.comwebsite at http://www.flysquirrel.net________________________________________________________________________________Date: Tue, 1 Sep 2009 13:45:32 -0700 (PDT)
