I have to echo Mike Cuy's sentiments about what a nice airplane that Jess andRyan have now. I was fortunate enough to get a ride in the plane with Mike atthe controls, and it was a great ride. He even let me take the stick for a fewminutes. It flew just like an airplane should, and getting a ride was a greatshot in the arm for me to stop making excuses and start making sawdust again!It's really a shame that Brodhead lasts only 2 days, how great it would be if itwere a week-long event! I got to meet a lot of people, but didn't have enoughtime to meet as many people as I would have liked to! I have had inquiries on the purchase and ownership of my Piet. Rather than hijacking someone else's topic I'll start one of my own. >From a Barnstormers ad we located a Piet for sale in Collinsville, Ok just northof Tulsa. June 19th Steve R, my son and I flew to Collinsville for an inspection. A few days later my offer was accepted. July 10th Steve R, my son and I flew back to Collinsville for a final inspectionand to take delivery. Steve flew it to Alva, OK. Once in Alva Steve gaveme a few hours of dual time before soloing and flying it back to Liberal, KSwere it is now home. N28WH first flew in 1995 and has approx 200 hrs on the airframe. The A-65 hasapprox 40 hrs on it since rebuild. I have somewhere between 10 to 15 hrs init so far. I'm still trying to get the hang of flying a tail dragger. It'sgetting better. The good landings are beginning to out number the bad.
