John,I doubt an automotive oil temp bulb would have the right fittings to fitinto the oil screen assembly, but it might. I think the oil screen assemblyhas a 5/8-18 thread. If the automotive temp bulb has the same size threadit should work. John,I bought an automotive oil press/temp gauge set from Auto Zone and the fittingsthat came with it adapted to the 5/8-18 thread on the oil screen just fine. I even ran the engine, low power only, and it did not leak. Problem is the capillarytube did not reach to my rear cockpit.
