Mike,I have a Ford model A and have a copper tube from the old distributor port to the intake tube to the carburetor. The previous owner made the set up and since I am using different manifolds I had to modify it a little. I haven't run the engine since overhaul but I have great confidence in the system.JackSent from my iPad> On Oct 22, 2013, at 10:28 AM, Michael Perez wrote:> > I am curious if anyone has the breather tube coming off their engine connected to the hot air side of the carburetor heat box? You're a good man Dan Yocum! You speak lots of truth in those lines above. Thatbeing said, I can hardly imagine my kids growing up without the Piet. Theyhelped with the build, at least the ones I had at the time, and they've beeninvolved all along. Many of my and I'm sure many of their best memories havebeen in some way tied to the Piet. Some very important discussions about possibleboyfriends and other important daughter matters have taken place on latenight washing and waxing visits to the hangar. The amazing one on one experiencesI've had with each of my four kids could fill a book. After our weeklongBarnstorming 2012 trip that my then 8 year old son and I went on, I made a picturebook of the trip and gave it to him for Christmas. He regularly reads himselfto sleep at night with it. (Maybe its not that exciting! Ha!). And there'snothing like camping with one of the kids beside the Piet. Anyway.... It'sdifferent for everyone. I'm blessed with a fantastic and supportive wife andfamily. Therefore it's worked. If for some reason it looked like it wasn't goingto work and was causing stress in the family, the Piet would need to go.Don EmchNX899DERead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... __________
