Andy,Not so sure about how "easy" it would be to incorporate flat spring gear on a Pietenpol.As mentioned before, some serious reinforcing would need to be addedto the fuselage (designed by someone that understands strengths of materials,and the loads that will potentially be transferred with such a design.)
