Shoulder harness

Post by jperkins »

Hey all, I recently acquired an almost complete Pietenpol and I am looking for ideas and advice on what you all have done with seat belts/shoulder harness’s . Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Adding a bump to the fuselage to raise the top of the harness in order to increase the angle of the shoulder belts especially for a taller pilot should be a practical priority. In most Piets/pilots the shoulder belts exit below the top of the pilot's shoulders which will compress your spine in a sudden stop.
