I visited Everett Millet in Windham, ME yesterday and got a good look at the Pietenpol he is building. He is the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet! He let me poke around his workshop with my digital camera for over an hour and a half, showed me his new hangar, and explained a lot of the construction process.
