I seen alot of ribs made with small steel or simular material left inthe ribs. I also seen at Brodhead a fuse. that had the same kind ofstaples. I was told that these had to be taken out before the wood wasvarnished. When I asked at Oshkosh and Brodhead why they were left inthe answer was that when you varnish over them they would not rust. Isthere any comments on this?Craig HansonI seen alot of ribs made with small steel or simularmaterialleft in the ribs. I also seen at Brodhead a fuse. that had thesame kindof staples. If you leave the staples in they had better be stainless steel otherwise themoisture that is present in the wood will eventually rust them. Besides theugly staining, the staples will expand when they rust and possibly couldsplit the wood. It's also recommended that bolt holes be sealed on the inside before thebolts are put in for the same reason.Andy________________________________________________________________________________
