Pietenpol-List: climbing aboard

Post by matronics »

My fuselage came off the saw horses today and id standing on gear. Afterblocking the fixed gear to the height that the 19" wheels will stand at aquestion arose. How do you gracefully mount this beast? I'm still in goodenough shape to mount a good size horse but even standing on a milk crate,it was a stretch. Any comments, Please.Dick Navratil________________________________________________________________________________Date: Sun, 19 Mar 2000 21:41:46 -0600

A crane operated removeable seat works good for me except the parachute packmakes it a little snug.________________________________________________________________________________

The airplane rolls & rolls.I flew Ed Snyder's Piet quite a bit. He had the big wheels. I wasn't toohappy about getting in & out & he had the retractable step.Mike B Piet N687MB ( Mr Sam )________________________________________________________________________________Date: Mon, 20 Mar 2000 14:24:08 -0600
