I had posted earlier some drawings on my site that shows the way Mike C.used stairway banister to make the leading edge for the wing. Its a reallygood idea and eliminates a lot of sanding. I had a hard time findingbanister around here for a reasonable price so I went a different route andI thought I would share the way I did it. I went to a local lumber yard thatspecializes in hard woods.I had him cut me some poplar one and three quarter inch square. I took thatand made three cuts on it. The first cut gave me a piece I could use for thetrailing edge. The third cut was square to the first cut and it gave me apiece that takes little cutting to form the leading edge. The poplar cost meabout $1.40 a foot so the whole deal cost about $50 for the two wings andcenter section.I posted a drawing of how I did it on my site. Here is the link to thedrawing.http://bggifts.virtualave.net/cvle.GIFI hope this might help someone save a buck or two.CarlPlease visit my website atwww.megsinet.net/skycarl________________________________________________________________________________
