Im ordering 90 degree mahogany plywood from Wicks for the 3/16 tail feather gussets, and need to choose either 3-ply or 5-ply. The 3-ply is lighter, but I assume the 5-ply is stronger. Im thinking that the 3-ply will be plenty strong enough, and the weight savings in the tail will be of greater importance.
