One difference between aircraft cable and hardware store cable is thelubricant that is impregnated into the aircraft cable (one reason you shouldnever wash your cable with a solvent - it will leach the lubricant out ofit). This lubricant is necessary to allow bending the cable over pulleyswithout chafing the individual strands.Ask Fisherman Ray how his Pietenpol is coming.
