Subject: Pietenpol-List: landing at Oshkosh on Sunday & Kurt's attach points Lowell-- I thought somewhere in the front of Sport Aviation they have a legal advocacygroup department that can help you thrusuch things as the FAA is trying to put you thru. My apologies for posting incorrect info about Kurt Shipman's Piet fittings-- theyare in fact for floats. Hi LowellI was just ahead of you, landing at the same time and it could have just as easily been me on the side of the runway. I caught the same gust and thought I had broke a bungee as my wing tip was way down and I had every bit of rudder and aileron stuffed in to hold the wing down. Good luck with the feds.I still have your strobe. If you would send me your address off list, I'll mail it back.Dick N. horzpool(at)goldengate.net----- Original Message -----
