The Sky Scout has finally flown over Brodhead yesterday. Thirty minute flightwas flawless and Ted Davis gave the airplane the thumbs up approval! Takeoffspeed is 60 mph, stall is 30-35 mph and cruise is 70 to 75 mph. Overall weightis 619 pounds with oil and water. Model A engine started first flip and idledat 540 rpm. Full throttle is around 2100 rpm.
