Guys, Had something new happen tonight on the GN-1 I purchased last month. I flew forabout 1-3/4 hour, it was about 82 degree's out. When I landed and shut the engineoff - it just sat their and "dieseled" on me. I don't have a fuel mixturecutoff installed on this plane - and it takes about 4-5 minutes of idling beforeit will shut down after fuel valve shutoff - so I sat and played with thethrottle and occasionally flipped one or both mags on/off again (to see if Ihad a P-lead issue). I didn't hear any difference in engine dieseling or run duringthis play around period. It would almost shut off - just not quite...When I was finally able to get it to quit after about 4 minutes or so (I thinkit finally ran out of fuel), I chocked the wheels, made sure mags were off, andtried to hand prop it. Lorin,What type of mag switch do you have? I had an A-7 corrode and go bad on me. They are old and notorious for that.
