Jeff,=C2-I am assuming that you have the tailwheel skid as part of your plans? I think most of us are just =98winging=99 it from there! Hey,I think I figured out what the gunk on that prop is, though it's kindagross. I'm convinced it is decades of accumulation of cigarette smoke tar.I'll bet this thing hung in a bar or restaurant.I hit it with a heat gun and it softened into a gummy consistency, allowingme to easily scrape it off with a plastic scraper. It then instantlyhardens back to a plastic-like material. I thought it might have beencosmoline, but I can tell by the smell and the way it rehardens that itisn't.
