Subject: Pietenpol-List: Neat idea for wire organization in a hanger Just saw a neat solution to running wiring, hoses, and such around a space andbeing able to change it. A building used for military headquarter excercises haswire mesh trays that run around the walls of each room about 2 to 3 ft fromthe tall ceilings and then trays that run out into the room. Each unit has differentneeds and simply lays their computer and power cables in this system untilthey get to where they want the end and drop it down. All wires are overheadand out of the way. Easy to put in place and easy to take out. Could be used in a hanger for different projects or different uses. Could be runwith computer, electricity, air hoses. Steve; that stuff is cable tray. The simplest and cheapest is the so-called "shoppingcart" stuff... picture the wire mesh that shopping carts are made of andthat's what the tray looks like. You can always see what's in the tray thatway and it's easy to get a new cable or service into or out of it through theholes. Also provides unlimited number of places to ty-rap other things ontoit.You're right about the electrical, though... careful what you put in with it, andhow it's done.
