If using the mechanical drive off the oil pump like Bernard did, which way does the tach need to rotate, to the right or left? Will any mechanical tach work?Dennis________________________________________________________________________________Date: Wed, 9 Jan 2013 09:11:26 -0800 (PST)

Paul,The FAA does NOT issue an NX number. They only issue a straight N number. TheX can be put on the airplane to eliminate the Words Experimental provided thatthe plane is more than 30 years old or is a replica of an aircraft more than30 years old. The Piet is covered by both accounts. None of the aircraft registrationwill indicate the X you are talking about. All paper work will onlyshow the N number. I am at work and don't have my FAR book with me so I cannotquote which reg it is. Perhaps others on the list have it handy.--------Scott LiefeldFlying N11MS since March 1972Steel TubeC-85-12Wire WheelsBrodhead in 1996Read this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ______Date: Wed, 9 Jan 2013 08:59:47 -0600Subject: Re: Pietenpol-List: Aviation Ground School
