Yes, the cables hould be reasonably tight although what you usually see withloose cables is shimmy. The only advice I'd give is KEEP THE STICK BACK . .. I bought a Stearman guage from ACS and cut it down to fit my tank. I had tore-tap the plug and shorten the wire to the cork but it works fine.Dick----- Original Message -----
