Gene,The heat muff is 3" diameter exhaust pipe. It has two 1.5" holes drilled throughto slide up the two straight pipes and welded in place. The back side of themuff is closed off. A tube is welded into the side with a duct attached andrunning to the heat box. I heated and somewhat squared off the front of themuff to try to get about the same area of inlet as outlet.
